Chapter 1 of Fortnite ended with Zero Point exploding, creating a break in time, ultimately resulting in Rift Zones throughout the map. The rocket from earlier seasons returned, colliding with Zero Point and causing a black hole, which pulled in the entire island. Without a map, Fortnite was unplayable for two d


However, things aren't smooth sailing for the team from this point on. Not only is Batman's resistance squad met with large stone golem defenders, but Fishstick is killed when the team splits up into teams to search the tunnels, apparently murdered by one of their own. With a traitor in their midst who's more than likely working for "them", it's clear that Batman and his allies still have a fight ahead of them, and it's going to be really interesting to see if they'll end up face to face with the agents who've been running Fortnite Island all this t


This brings things to Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #4 , which sees the Dark Knight being met by Slade Wilson's Deathstroke as well as Catwoman. Thanks to being out of the loop, Batman's memories of his past battles have come rushing back (though nothing about his past from before he came to the island). And that's not the only major video game tie-in that the NFL is pursuing. As announced on the NFL Communications website, the league is renewing an earlier partnership with Fortnite . Epic Games is launching a new batch of football themed skins to join the in-game Gridiron Gang, with a sleeker and more aerodynamic look than previous outfits. The new outfits also give players some customization options, including the ability to switch out logos and rep whatever team they want. Epic likely took inspiration from a previous special costume set that let players customize the logo on their very own superhero outfits . The black hole eventually rebirthed Fortnite's island , kicking off the start of Chapter 2, and introduced two new organizations, E.G.O. and A.L.T.E.R., who were often in conflict with one another. Fortnite is one of the most universally successful games in modern history. This partnership with the NFL should give football-enthused fans of the battle royale a whole new reason to dive into the cartoonish shooter.
