E3 2018: Every Game Confirmed For The Show

With more than a year of development time to work on Splinter Cell 6 , it's not a far stretch that Ubisoft might be saving it for a surprise reveal during this year's E3. After all the attention they've been giving Assassin's Creed Revelations over the last month, this would be a big surprise. Gamers no doubt want to know if the game will be returning to its original style of gameplay or if it will retain the darker, grittier, and more fast paced action of Splinter Cell Convicti


Sledgehammer Games has already revealed the single player portion of Call of Duty: WW2 , and so far the game has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response. However, the bread and butter of the Call of Duty franchise has almost always been its multiplayer, and so all eyes will be on Call of Duty: WW2 at E3 to see if the multiplayer can generate as much excitement as the single player campa


Thanks to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 loot box controversy and the disappointing Mass Effect: Andromeda , public opinion of Electronic Arts seems to be relatively poor, but EA has a chance to turn around its misfortunes at E3. The publisher has theopportunity to impress fans with games like Anthem and Battlefield V , and it will also be showing its upcoming slate of sports games, new mobile games, and new content for The Sims

Gameplay itself is a nice blend of action elements with those traditional to an RPG. On the offense, a melee weapon, long range weapon and magical will powers are always available, each assigned to a different face button. For defense, numerous gear combinations are available to ensure you’ll always be protected in the heat of battle. Plus you can block and roll. Enemies tend to rush you and offer quite a challenge for those unfamiliar with the proper strategies. Grinding isn’t a common occurrence, but going into battle well stocked with items is always necessary. While it’s not the deepest system, it’s still arguably the best one in the Fable series and remains enjoyable today.


Death Stranding hasn't been confirmed for E3, but considering the close relationship between the new Kojima Productions and Sony, it seems likely that it will have an appearance at the show. If Death Stranding is shown at E3, hopefully fans get more answers about the game's mysterious story, and if they're lucky, the first look at gameplay. It would also be nice to learn definitively whether there was ever any truth to the Emma Stone casting rumors that cropped up a few months b

There’s something odd about an HD port built for a console which itself has games that are being ported to a superior console. Let’s reflect on Fable Anniversary for a second: it’s a 2014 Xbox 360 remake of an Xbox game from 2004. We’re in an age where people are demanding for spectacular looking games like Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us to be ported to Xbox One and PS4, and this is an Xbox 360 port of an original Xbox game. As such, judging it is fairly hard to do after spending countless hours over the past few months scrutinizing next-gen ports like Tomb Raider, Madden 25 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, when Fable Anniversary would be a resounding success if it matched the 360 quality of any of them. Still, while a remake of Fable might have been better suited for release before Fable II or as a three-pack with its sequels on Xbox One before Fable IV (please?), the sheer fact that Lionhead and Microsoft care to do it at all is great fan service for players who have had to deal with an antiquated game — classic as it may be.


As far as major presenters go, no one has been as open about what it's bringing to E3 as Ubisoft.
