As of right now the only titles we have pegged to make an appearance during Microsoft’s press conference — as opposed to appearing on the show floor — are Gears of War 3 , Forza 4 , and a new Star Wars title developed specifically for Kinect. Aside from that the console exclusives are all left to speculation, but there are a few top tier titles that we most definitely would like to see app

Then we played it. The love Molyneux spoke of can be seen in the human marriages, relationships, or children made possible in the game, but the one bond all players share is that between their player and their trusty

This is of course just a small taste of what we could potentially see from Microsoft at this year’s press conference. There are a few other third-party titles, like Metal Gear Solid Rising , that might make an appearance, but given Kojima’s no-show at the event it seems unlik

PLAY THIS GAME!!! Dicey Dungeons is dice-based in both a mechanical and literal sense, and is by far the most underrated title on this list. It turns standard roguelike and deck-building mechanics on their heads with its dice-based actions and differing playstyles between its six characters. I tend to be very lukewarm on deck-building or card games, and while games like Slay the Spire are fun, that still served as a roadblock for

While the titular Blood Dragons that populated the environments of this Far Cry 3 expansion(?) were seriously lethal, they were no match for the robotic version players were allowed to pilot into the game's cli

The Last of Us launched to rave reviews back in 2013, and fans have been waiting patiently for their chance to see what happens next to heroes Joel and Ellie. Set years after the end of the original game, rumors have been flying that The Last of Us: Part 2 features a dead Joel now that Ellie is the main playable character, though E3 might offer some clarification on that front and potentially put some of these rumors to r

We don't have much official information on 2017's Assassin's Creed game, except for the fact that it exists and is due for release later this year. It appears as though Ubisoft is keeping the game under wraps for a big reveal at E3, but some leaks have suggested that its full title will be Assassin's Creed Origins , it will take place in Egypt, and its protagonist will be named Ba Yek . Other rumors have teased that the game will abandon both multiplayer and naval combat, suggesting that this year's Assassin's Creed may signal a return to the franchise's ro

Movement off the horse, such as in a dungeon or mine, occurs with no player input, putting focus solely on clearing away baddies. Combat is handled via two main powers controlled by each hand. The right hand casts a damage-dealing attack spell, while the left hand can push enemies back or fling environmental objects at them. To execute either attack, you simply aim at the intended target and push your lower arm away from your upper arm with the palm facing out. While it’s a simple combat system, it truly feels that you are the one casting the spells -- always a victory for motion-based titles. Common variances like needing the left hand to pull the armor off of an enemy, while dealing damage with the right prevents gameplay from seeming stale.

I always love trying games that are innovative, weird, and unorthodox and Erica was able to check all of those boxes. For that reason, it's still on my mind at the end of 2019 despite a couple of problems. If you're done with Telling Lies and are looking for another intriguing FMV adventure game News|https://Adventurequestlog.com/, Erica should be on your radar. The game, not the person. That'd be quite cre

Besides combat and travel, there are plenty of other motion-based opportunities throughout Albion. Activities like corralling chickens, lighting lanterns and moving obstacles may seem mundane, but serve to enrich the experience, making sure there’s always a fresh task to keep players interested. Most of these secondary actions have their own unique movements to avoid redundancies. Not content to let your arms have all the fun, there will be times where multiple paths can be selected from by bending your torso left or right. With all the different movements, it’s clear Lionhead was content on utilizing the full potential of motion-control.

Unfortunately, a lot of what Fable Heroes brings to the table, aside from that, is dull and uninteresting. Combat devolves into mashing the same button over and over again, and earning coins, while competitive, doesn't carry quite the joy that it should. Lionhead does infuse a few of its signature Fable flairs, like branching paths and good vs. evil choices, into the game but both are either too few and far between, or just a different way to prolong the experience. It's only the board game leveling system, and the title's brief mini-games -- like mine-cart racing -- that provide brief respites from an otherwise uninspired experie
