Always keep your ink bottles sealed tightly after each use to prevent contact with oxygen, which can trigger premature drying and generate debris that obstructs print heads. Maintain ink in a low-light, climate-controlled environment far from radiators or windows, as elevated heat disrupts ink formulation and accelerate drying. Ideally, keep them at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit.



Keep ink away from moist environments, as dampness destabilizes ink formulation. If you are not using the ink for an extended period, consider placing the bottles in a sealed plastic container with a slightly wet sponge nearby to regulate ambient moisture, but ensure the cloth does not touch the bottles.



Always shake the ink gently before use to re-suspend colorants thoroughly, but never agitate vigorously as this can induce foam formation. Label each bottle with the date of opening to track its age and replace ink that has been open for more than six months.



Regularly clean your printer’s ink lines and printhead as specified in the user manual, even if you are not printing daily, to prevent any buildup. By following these simple steps can preserve ink performance over time and achieve stable color accuracy across every job.
