It's a game that simply has to be experienced to be understood, as the base story itself is relatively confusing and ambitious. In the world that the player explores, they'll have to contend with time-traveling rain, invisible, demonic creatures, and human enemies that relentlessly chase the protagonist down, eager to steal his cargo. There are some incredibly unique features in this game, such as a baby secured to the player's chest that acts as an early warning system for the invisible creatures. When disturbed, the baby cries through the DualShock 4's built-in speaker, making for an insanely creepy experie

What makes this game so loved is how the developers worked closely with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis to help players understand Senua’s mind in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice . Players will be able to feel the grief and despair and everything in between thanks to the facial animat

Kojima's teases confirmed that Elle Fanning will feature in the upcoming game, which is expected to be a PlayStation title. This is not the only thing brewing over at Kojima Productions . In addition to the possible Death Stranding sequel, fans can also look forward to an Xbox game that will utilize Microsoft's cloud technology, as well as a VR game. Developers at Kojima Productions are busy, and it seems like all the upcoming projects will be breaking new gro

Some of Troy's most interesting roles can be found in the Japanese games he has worked on. While some of these titles may not be so popular in the West, they are certainly worth trying out, not just for Troy's voice acting but also for the unique stories they tell and the eccentric gameplay they offer. Troy has worked with Atlus quite frequently. He takes a lead role in Catherine and Catherine: Full Body where he voices Vincent Brooks, a regular guy who is haunted by nightmares after finding himself in a love triangle. He also voices Kanji in Persona 4 . Kanji is a mean-looking bad boy who ends up having his softer side revea

Across PC, PS4, and PS5 it has sold north of five million copies, which is incredibly impressive for a new IP and proof that Kojima is more than capable of dealing out bangers away from the likes of Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders. He remains one of the medium’s most fascinating creators, and that makes the idea of Death Stranding 2 all the more exciting. I dislike the trend of auteurs being placed on a pedestal above the hundreds of people it takes to make a modern blockbuster possible, but Kojima feels like one of the few exceptions to this rule. All of his weird, innovative ideas are present in his open world post-apocalyptic Amazon Prime simulator with little to no filter, whether we’re throwing our own piss at ghosts in the form of grenades or watching Norman Reedus in the shower before downing a six-pack of Monster. Anything is possible in death Stranding 2 Lore Stranding because Kojima has created a studio that enables him, while working alongside a team that supports whatever he comes up with and delivers on it without question.

At its very foundation, The Last of Us is something of a survival title, giving players limited resources to assist them on their journey. It's built around a world that is inherently threatening, and in some cases, the best course of action is to painstakingly creep through an entire section of the game, heart pounding, trying desperately to avoid making a sound. It's one of the scariest post-apocalyptic games without a doubt, but it's also a beautiful and haunting experien

Kratos has come a long way from being a ruthless God-Killer, and the reviled god of war in the Greek Pantheon. When Kratos continues his journey as a father and a grieving husband in God of War: Ragnarok , he is still far more reserved and trying his hardest to keep his rage bound to his closed heart. However, his emotion is told beautifully in his e

I can’t even begin to think where Kojima will take things, but the socially dependent delivery system present in Sam Porter Bridges’ journey is one that controls beautifully, giving every step meaning as you stumble towards your destination, careful to avoid losing everything you’ve worked for. Fellow couriers would often come into view, while you’d also need to deal with evil monsters and bandits, but so much of the game was tranquil in its atmosphere, allowing the world to become our own. I adore this isolation, but I’d equally welcome expansion with deeper characters and more varied environments that aren’t just a bland mixture of rain, mountains, hills, and desert all populated by the same mixture of spooky monsters you’re desperately trying to avoid. The core systems are great, but with further refinement they could be something special.

It’s pretentious, cringey, nonsensical, and so far up its own ass, yet it’s also honest and heartfelt in what it wants to be, and we need more games like that in the triple-A space. Death Stranding 2 could enhance everything its sibling managed to achieve or result in something entirely unique, and I’m more than ready for either of those possibilities.
